Our Projects and Policy Officer, Dominic Golding gave a powerful statement to the Disability Royal Commission on Tuesday the 8th of December 2020.

Dominic spoke about his lived experience of disability and his extensive policy and advocacy experience within the disability space.

Increase Disability Support Pension now to deal with coronavirus

People with disability who receive the Disability Support Pension (DSP) urgently need access to the increased Coronavirus Supplement of $550 per fortnight, consistent with the Jobseeker Payment and other payments recently announced.

A delegation of people with disability is getting ready to present to the United Nations Committee on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (UN Committee) about the progress Australia has made to make our rights real. 

The UN Committee is reviewing Australia’s progress in implementing the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (CRPD) on 12 and 13 September 2019, and as part of this review, it will listen to the views of the delegation of people with disability.
